Harford County Detectives are searching for a Baltimore County Man After Edgewood Shooting

On December 20, 2022, at 5:12 p.m., patrol deputies assigned to the Southern Precinct of the Harford County Sheriff’s Office responded to the 2800 block of Majesty Lane in Edgewood for the report of a domestic disturbance. Upon arrival, deputies located an adult female, suffering from a gunshot wound to the upper body. Deputies immediately began life preserving care until EMS arrived and transported the victim to a local trauma center with life threatening injuries. Detectives are on scene gathering information and interviewing witnesses.

The investigation was assumed by detectives with the Harford County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division who were supported by investigators with the Sheriff’s Office Forensic Services Unit.

The investigation progressed swiftly and Jamar Wise, 42, of Towson was identified as a suspect. Early investigation indicates Wise had previously been in a relationship with the victim. The victim has been identified as Kisha Blackwell, 46 of Edgewood. The suspect is believed to be driving a dark colored minivan and could be in the Baltimore County area.

If you see Wise, he should be considered armed and dangerous and should not be approached. Please call 911.

The investigation is ongoing. Detectives are asking for anyone with information about this crime, or who may have video of the suspects, the victim or his vehicle, is asked to call Detective Reynolds, with the Harford County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division, at 443-409-3502.
