Detectives Investigating Shooting

A man is recovering, and detectives are investigating, following a shooting in Edgewood on Wednesday night.

On January 17, 2024, at approximately 9:05 p.m., deputies assigned to the Southern Precinct of the Harford County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to Harford Square Drive at O & P Court for the report of a shooting. Upon arrival, deputies discovered Oluwatishe Oluwatamilore Ilori, 22, of Rosedale, suffering gunshot wounds to the upper and lower body. Deputies immediately rendered first aid until medics arrived. Illori was subsequently transported by Maryland State Police Medivac Helicopter to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore for care. He is currently listed in critical condition.

The investigation was assumed by Detectives from the Harford County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division. Investigators from the Forensic Services Unit responded to the area to collect and preserve physical evidence in support of the investigation. No further information is being released at this time.
