Detectives Investigate Fallston House Party Shooting that Killed One and Injured Another

Shortly after midnight on July 5, 2026, deputies from the Northern Precinct responded to a report of a shooting in the 2300 block of Willow Vale Drive in Fallston.

Upon arrival, deputies encountered a chaotic scene at a large house party with an estimated 100 people in attendance. One adult male victim, age 34, was found with multiple gunshot wounds. Deputies immediately began lifesaving efforts before he was transported by air to a local trauma center, where he remains in critical condition.

Moments later, a second victim arrived at a nearby hospital, transported by individuals who had been attending the party. That victim, a 23-year-old male from Windsor Mill, MD, died of his injuries. His name is not being released at this time.

The Criminal Investigations Division of the Harford County Sheriff’s Office has assumed this active and early-stage investigation. Detectives are seeking additional witnesses who can provide information about the events leading up to the shootings. While the circumstances and motive remain under investigation, based on the investigation so far, all indications are that this incident appears to be isolated to the individuals attending the party. There is no information of any ongoing threat to the surrounding neighborhoods.

No further information is available for release at this time. Detectives continue to interview witnesses and gather evidence to fully understand this incident. Anyone with information related to this incident, including photographs or video footage of the incident or party, is urged to contact Detective Thumma at 443-567-7201.
