Substance & Behavioral Health Unit

Today, Sheriff Jeffrey Gahler recognized three more inmates who successfully completed a 12-week program as part of the Substance & Behavioral Health Unit at the Harford County Detention Center, adding to the six who already graduated the program a couple months ago. This program was implemented after the Sheriff recognized the volume of people being processed into the detention center who struggle with substance abuse and the heroin epidemic currently paralyzing our communities. Congratulations to the inmates who successfully completed the program! Hopefully this was a strong, positive step towards a sober, crime-free, life.
