A Forest Hill man is dead after an early morning motor vehicle crash in Harford County

[July 10, 2017, Fallston, MD] A Forest Hill man is dead after an early morning motor vehicle crash in Harford County.

On July 10th, 2017, at approximately 1:40 a.m., Harford County Sheriff’s Office deputies assigned to the Northern Precinct were dispatched to the scene of a crash in the 2500 block of Pleasantville Road in Fallston. Upon arrival, deputies discovered a single vehicle collision. The driver of the vehicle, and sole occupant, was pronounced deceased on scene. He is identified as Adam Francis Kowalewski, 28, of High Point Road in Forest Hill.

At approximately 1:37 a.m., a motorist traveling on Pleasantville Road discovered the crash and called 911. Preliminary information gathered at the scene indicates Kowalewski was driving a 2001 Dodge Ram 2500 northbound on Pleasantville Rd when, for an unknown reason, he crossed the center lane, left the roadway, hit a fence and struck a tree.

Medics with the Fallston Volunteer Fire and Ambulance Company responded to the scene, and declared Kowalewski deceased at the scene at 1:51 a.m.

Deputies assigned to the Harford County Sheriff’s Office Traffic Unit responded to the scene to assume the investigation into the cause and circumstances of the crash. Preliminarily there is no indication of impairment. The exact cause of the crash has not been determined at this time. The investigation is ongoing.
