Forgery / Counterfeiting
On November 29, 2017, at approximately 10:53 a.m., deputies assigned to the Harford County Sheriff’s Office Southern Precinct responded to the Walmart in the 400 block of Constant Friendship Blvd for the report of a subject passing counterfeit currency.
Upon arrival, deputies were informed an unknown male subject entered the store and used counterfeit money to purchase a prepaid credit card. Through investigation it was determined a similar incident occurred at the Walmart on November 19 and similar counterfeit bills were used in that incident.
The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 25-40 years old with a light beard and mustache. He was believed to be driving a red or maroon four door vehicle. Anyone with information is asked to call DFC Terry Lindsey.
