Nine search and seizure warrants, and seven arrests were executed on May 23, 2024, as detectives continue their investigation into a shooting that occurred on Harr Park Court in Edgewood, last 4th of July. Two other suspects were served with additional charges while incarcerated for unrelated charges. To date, nine suspects have been charged in connection to the shooting and additional arrests expected. The following individuals, all with Harford County addresses, are being charged with attempted 2nd degree murder, 1st degree assault, and participation in a criminal organization:

- Laday De John Cooper (DOB: 3/3/2001)
- Paul Delnor Terry Talley Jr. (DOB: 8/28/2004)
- Jaierre Naheim Hoke (DOB: 12/12/2001)
- Makhiah Nijuel Colclough (DOB: 7/10/2000)
- Dominic D’Juan Frazier (DOB: 11/19/1994)
- Rayvon Olique Perry (DOB: 11/16/2001)
- John Terell Hawkins Jr, (DOB: 2/15/2006)
- Kareem Donte Carter Jr. (male DOB: 3/7/2000)
Additionally, during the execution of the search warrants, four 9mm handguns were seized, as well as CDS indictive of distribution and U.S. Currency.
On July 4, 2023, at approximately 4:12 p.m., deputies assigned to the Southern Precinct of the Harford County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) were dispatched to the 600 block of Edgewood Road for the report of a shooting. Upon arrival, deputies discovered Rayvon Perry, 21, of Aberdeen, near the Royal Farms with a gunshot wound to the lower body. Deputies immediately rendered first aid until medics arrived and transported Perry to a local trauma center. Three additional victims, Cameron Ward, 21, of Edgewood, and two male juveniles, both age 17, were located at area hospitals seeking medical attention for gunshot wounds. The initial investigation indicated the shooting occurred in the 600 block of Harr Park Court, where a group had gathered. A fight ensued resulting in multiple gunshots causing the crowd to disperse.
The investigation was conducted by detectives from the HCSO Criminal Investigations Division and was diligently worked for the last 10 months. Their dedication to bringing peace back to the neighborhood and holding those responsible for their crimes led to these arrests.
This successful investigation was possible with the assistance of multiple HCSO units, including the Criminal Investigations Division, Special Investigations Division, Special Operations Division, Court Services Division, and the Southern Precinct, along with outside agencies including Maryland State Police, Baltimore County Police Department, Aberdeen Police Department, and Maryland Transportation Authority Police.
