Lobby Access Restricted

The Harford County Sheriff’s Office is implementing heightened precautions due to increasing COVID-19 figures. At the direction of the Sheriff, we will immediately SUSPEND:

  • Visitation at the Harford County Detention Center (Outside programs at the Harford County Detention Center remain suspended)
  • All public access and community rooms use at Headquarters and the Precincts
  • All HCSO community outreach programs (including Citizen’s Police Academy, PLEDGE Program, Active Shooter Training, HOPE House, etc.)

Additionally, access to the lobbies at Harford County Sheriff’s Office locations is restricted until further notice. This includes the Northern and Southern Precincts, Headquarters, and the Harford County Detention Center.

If you need routine assistance from a deputy, please call the non-emergency number, 410-838-6600. If you must visit a precinct, access can only be made to the vestibules at each location, not the lobbies as they are closed. If you are at a Sheriff’s Office location, and need to speak with someone, please utilize call boxes in the vestibules. The Family Justice Center is open, access to staff can be facilitated by using the intercom system, as lobby access is restricted.
