The Harford County Sheriff’s Office is applying for a federally funded grant to purchase equipment. This equipment will aid the Sheriff’s Office is collecting data on speeding in the county and allow deputies to utilize RADAR for enforcement of speeding violations. The Sheriff’s Office intends to use the $25,504 in award money for the above items. As part of the grant application process, the Sheriff’s Office is required to make this announcement public, allowing for a review and comments of the application.
