Harford County detectives are investigating a homicide that occurred in Aberdeen on Sunday morning.
On January 5, 2025, at approximately 12:34 a.m., patrol deputies assigned to the Southern Precinct of the Harford County Sheriff’s Office responded to the 1300 block of N Sewards Court in Aberdeen for the report of a shooting. Upon arrival, deputies located two adult male victims suffering from gunshot wounds. One victim was transported to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The other victim, identified as Kylonne Taylor, 18, of Aberdeen, was located in the basement of the residence suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Deputies attempted life saving measures on Mr. Taylor, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
The investigation was assumed by detectives from the Harford County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division. Investigators from the Forensic Services Unit responded to collect and preserve physical evidence in support of the investigation. At this time, while the motive remains under investigation, detectives do not believe this to be a random act.
