Detectives Investigating Belcamp Domestic Homicide

[October 25, 2018 Edgewood, MD] Detectives with the Harford County Sheriff’s Office have arrested a juvenile in connection with a fatal stabbing that occurred in Belcamp on Thursday afternoon.

On Thursday, October 25, at approximately 2:35 p.m., deputies assigned to the Southern Precinct of the Harford County Sheriff’s Office responded to the 1300 block of Jervis Square in Belcamp for the report of a stabbing. Upon arrival, deputies located the 18 year old male victim suffering from a stab wound to the upper body. They immediately rendered medical care until relieved by medics who transported the victim, identified as Gary Bernard Williams, of the same address, to the University of Maryland Upper Chesapeake Medical Center where he was later pronounced deceased.

Shortly after arrival, patrol deputies identified the 15 year old male suspect, and took him into custody without incident. The victim and suspect are brothers. The investigation was assumed by detectives from the Harford County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division. Investigators from the Forensic Services Unit responded to the area to collect and preserve physical evidence in support of the investigation.

Preliminary information indicates the two were involved in an argument when the suspect stabbed the victim with a knife. The suspect was transported to the Criminal Investigations Division for interviewing. Charging to be determined.

The investigation remains active and ongoing. There are no further details being released at this time. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call Detective Donald Kramer at 443-409-3546.
