Detectives Investigate Non-Fatal Stabbing

Two victims are recovering and detectives are investigating after a stabbing in Edgewood on Sunday afternoon.

On June 7, 2020, at approximately 12:18 p.m., deputies assigned to the Southern Precinct of the Harford County Sheriff’s Office responded to the area of the 1700 block of Dearwood Court for the report of a stabbing. Upon arrival, deputies located an adult female, identified as Angelina Graziano, suffering from multiple stab wounds to the upper body. The victim was transported to University of Maryland Shock Trauma for treatment of serious injuries. A short time later, an adult male victim, with minor injuries from the original incident was located.

The investigation was assumed by detectives from the Harford County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division. Investigators from the Forensic Services Unit responded to the scene, to collect and preserve physical evidence in support of the investigation.
The preliminary investigation indicates the victim was in the area of the laundry room when she was involved in an altercation with a female suspect, which escalated to the stabbing. The second victim, identified as Jamil Perry, was injured while trying to intervene during the assault. He was transported to University of Maryland Upper Chesapeake for treatment of his non life-threatening injuries. At this time, detectives do not believe this to be a random crime.
