Detectives investigate a shooting in Edgewood

Harford County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) Detectives investigate a shooting in Edgewood that left one male dead and another wounded.

On Friday, April 3, 2026, around 11:15 PM, deputies assigned to the Southern Precinct of the Harford County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to the area of Grempler Way and Brookside Drive in Edgewood for a report of a shooting.

Deputies arrived in the area in less than a minute and located a 22-year-old male, who was conscious and breathing, with an apparent gunshot wound to his shoulder/neck. Deputies immediately rendered medical aid and stabilized the victim. He was then transported by Emergency Medical Services (EMS) to a Baltimore area trauma center.

During this time, Deputies were informed of an additional victim lying in the roadway in the 1900 block of Eloise Lane. Deputies discovered a 20-year-old male, not conscious nor breathing, with an apparent gunshot wound to the chest. Deputies immediately rendered medical aid until EMS personnel arrived on scene. EMS personnel took over care, however, later pronounced the victim deceased on scene. The victim was identified as Bryan H. Burrows Jr. of Edgewood Maryland.

The parties involved are known to each other. This is believed to be an isolated incident. The investigation was assumed by detectives with the HCSO Criminal Investigations Division and Investigators from the Forensic Services Unit. The investigation remains active and ongoing.
