Deputies Investigating Fatal Crash

Deputies are investigating a fatal motorcycle crash that left a Bel Air man dead Sunday afternoon.​

On October 8, 2023, at 3:20 p.m., deputies assigned to the Northern Precinct of the Harford County Sheriff’s Office responded to the 3100 block of Forge Hill Rd in Street for the report of a motor vehicle collision. Upon arrival, deputies discovered a single vehicle crash involving a motorcycle. The driver of the vehicle, and sole occupant, identified as Jonathan Montre Ball, 29, of Bel Air, was declared deceased on scene.

Preliminary information gathered at the scene indicates Ball was traveling northbound in the 3100 block of Forge Hill Rd when for an unknown reason, lost control of the vehicle and slid alongside the roadway before coming to rest next to a tree.

Deputies assigned to the Harford County Sheriff’s Office Crash Team responded to the scene to assume the investigation into the cause and circumstances of the crash. The investigation is active and ongoing. No further information will be released at this time.
