Arrest Made in Edgewood Shooting

Deputies arrest 18-year-old Kylee DeLilly for a shooting that occurred yesterday in Edgewood.

On Tuesday, April 29, 2025, at approximately 1:56 p.m., deputies assigned to the Southern Precinct of the Harford County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) were dispatched to the 600 block of Yorkshire Drive in Edgewood for the report of a shooting. Upon arrival, deputies discovered an 18-year-old male, suffering a gunshot wound to the upper leg. Deputies immediately rendered first aid and applied a tourniquet to the victim’s leg prior to the arrival of medics. The victim was subsequently transported to a local trauma center for treatment of serious but non-life threatening injuries.

The investigation was assumed by detectives with the HCSO Criminal Investigations Division. Deputies from the Forensic Services Unit also responded to assist. Through investigation, detectives were able to determine that the victim’s brother, Kylee DeLilly, 18, of Edgewood, accidentally discharged a handgun striking the victim.

Deputies from the HCSO Crime Suppression Unit, with the assistance of officers from the Aberdeen Police Department, were able to locate Kylee DeLilly in Aberdeen. He was taken into custody without incident. During a search of the DeLilly residence, detectives located and seized an unserialized 3D printed handgun, a 50 round magazine and ammunition. Kylee DeLilly was transported to the Harford County Detention Center and was charged with Reckless Endangerment, Possession of a Regulated Firearm under the age of 21, Possession of a Regulated Firearm by a Prohibited Person, and Possession of an Unserialized Handgun. After an initial appearance before a District Court Commissioner, Kylee DeLilly was held without bond.
