National Correctional Officers and Employees Week

May 2-8, 2021, we recognize correctional deputies and employees who exemplify professionalism, integrity and strength in the face of a difficult and dangerous work environment. Correctional officers have a difficult job and play a vital role in the Criminal Justice System.

Without the dedicated men and women of the Harford County Sheriff’s Office, the Detention Center would just be an empty building of concrete and steel. It takes these professionals to keep the staff, the inmates, and the citizens of Harford County safe.
