Detectives Seek Suspects in Edgewood Shooting

[August 17, 2015, Edgewood, MD] Harford County Sheriff’s Office Detectives are currently seeking information from the public to assist in identifying a suspect wanted in connection with a shooting.

At approximately 9:53 p.m., on August 16, 2015, deputies were called to a home in the 1500 block of Harford Square Drive in Edgewood for the report of a victim suffering from a gunshot wound. Patrol deputies initiated an investigation that was later assumed by the Harford County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division. The preliminary investigation into the incident indicates that the female victim was walking on Harford Square Drive, in the area of F Court, with three other people when she was shot once in the lower body. The victim indicated she then entered a home in the 1500 block of Harford Square Drive. The victim was transported to Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries by medics with the Joppa Magnolia Volunteer Fire Company. The victim was treated and released from the hospital later that night. No other injuries were reported.
