Fatal Crash in Forest Hill

[March 29, 2016, Forest Hill, MD] A Forest Hill man died this afternoon, following a motor vehicle crash on Grafton Shop Road, in Forest Hill.

On March 29, 2016, at approximately 11:59 a.m., Harford County Sheriff’s Office deputies assigned to the Northern Precinct responded to the scene of a serious motor vehicle crash on Grafton Shop Road.

Information gathered at the scene indicates the driver of a Chevrolet S10 was traveling west on Grafton Shop Road, when the driver lost control, causing the vehicle to leave the roadway and strike a tree. The driver, identified as William Edmond Hruz, age 75 of Forest Hill, was transported to Upper Chesapeake Medical Center by Bel Air Volunteer Fire Company, where he later died. There were no other passengers in the vehicle.

The Harford Sheriff’s Office Traffic Unit responded to the scene to investigate the cause and circumstances of the crash. At this time, deputies are investigating the possibility of a medical emergency contributing to the crash. The Maryland State Medical Examiner will determine the cause of death.
