On December 6, 2020, at approximately 9:13 p.m., deputies assigned to the Southern Precinct of the Harford County Sheriff’s Office responded to the 1400 block of Primrose Place in Belcamp for the report of a stabbing. Upon arrival, deputies made contact with the victim, a 16-year-old male, who was suffering from a stab wound to the upper body. Deputies immediately began rendering aid to the victim until medics arrived. Medics with Harford County Medic 4 transported him to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center for treatment of what are believed to be serious, but non-life-threatening injuries.

Initial information provided to detectives indicates the victim was walking in the area of Church Creek Road with another juvenile, when they were approached by an unknown man who began pushing them. A brief physical altercation ensued and the suspect produced a knife and began swinging it at the juveniles, stabbing the 16-year-old. The other juvenile was uninjured.
The suspect is described as a white male, in his twenties, wearing a red puffy jacket, blue jeans and black tennis shoes.

The investigation remains active and ongoing. No further details are being released at this time. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call Detective Moro, with the Harford County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division, at 443-409-3154.
