Detectives Investigating Bank Robbery

Detectives with the Harford County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division are seeking a suspect in connection to a bank robbery that occurred Friday afternoon in Abingdon.

On November 13, 2020, at approximately 4:27 pm., deputies assigned to the Harford County Sheriff’s Office Southern Precinct responded to the First National Bank in the 400 block of Constant Friendship Boulevard in Abingdon for the report of an armed robbery. Upon arrival, deputies were informed an unknown male approached the teller, implied he had a weapon, and demanded cash. The suspect fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash. No injuries were reported as a result of the robbery.
The suspect is described as a male with an average build wearing a mask, black winter hat and grey long sleeve shirt.

The investigation was assumed by detectives from the Harford County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division. Investigators from the Forensic Services Unit responded to the scene to collect and preserve physical evidence in support of the investigation.

The investigation is ongoing. There are no further details being released at this time. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call Detective Kramer at 443-409-3546.
