Detectives Investigate Non-Fatal Stabbing

[June 30, 2018, Edgewood MD]  A man is recovering and detectives are investigating, following a stabbing in Edgewood this afternoon.

On June 30, 2018, at approximately 5:54 p.m., deputies assigned to the Southern Precinct of the Harford County Sheriff’s Office responded to the 1400 block of Pulaski Highway in Edgewood for the report of a stabbing.  Upon arrival, deputies were informed that three men confronted  the victim after which one of the men stabbed the victim in the abdomen multiple times before all three men fled the location. The victim, identified as Charles Lamont Brown, 44 of Edgewood, was transported by the Maryland State Police Medivac Helicopter to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center where he is currently listed in critical but stable condition.

The investigation was assumed by detectives from the Harford County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division.  Investigators from the Forensic Services Unit responded to collect and preserve physical evidence in support of the investigation.
