Car Theft

[April 12, 2016– Bel Air, MD] Sheriff’s Deputies are searching for the suspect(s) responsible for the theft of a 2008 Kia Rio, Maryland license plate number 2AY3609. The vehicle was stolen from the 1000 block of Marcham Court in Bel Air. The theft occurred in the overnight hours of April 6th into April 7th. The vehicle is light blue in color. It was last seen on April 8 around 4 p.m. by deputies on Carrs Mill Road near Ryan Road. Deputies attempted to stop the vehicle, but it fled the area. It was being operated by a younger white male. The vehicle has two stickers on the rear, one a pink ribbon that says “Life is Precious” and the other saying “Support for Veterans.” The attached photo is a similar vehicle, NOT the stolen one.
